NHS App & Older Devices Posted or Updated on 30 Apr 2025

The NHS App is no longer accessible as a mobile app on older devices.

The NHS App is now only supported on:

• Android version 8 and above (on devices with a front-facing camera)
• Apple iOS version 15 and above
• Web browser: nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login

The following operating systems will not be able to use the NHS app:

• iOS 12, 13 & 14 (iOS 13 &14 can be updated to iOS15)
• Android 6
• Android 7

Guidance on checking and updating devices is available on the NHS.UK website.

If you are on an unsupported device you can log in to your NHS account using your website browser instead.
