Community and district nurses provide valuable care in or close to people’s homes, care homes and clinics.
They help people who are over 18 years of age and who are housebound i.e. permanently or temporarily confined to their place of residence due to illness or disability. This can include those who require additional support to access services, those living with a carer who appears under pressure, those who require assistance with social isolation etc.
